Dr A.J.D. Grundy



Alastair Grundy joined the Laboratories for Hybrid Optoelectronics as a research fellow in April 2008.  He studied for his PhD in the Group of Professor Jeremy Baumberg investigating “Optically Nonlinear Spatial and Spectral Processes in Semiconductor Microcavities”. He was awarded first class MPhys in Physics with Photonics by the University of Southampton in 2004.  During his undergraduate studies Alastair was awarded two summer research scholarships and was acknowledged on the Dean’s list for academic excellence.
